Comprehensive Authorisation

After an ImageNow user is authenticated, he or she is subject to another critical stage of identity examination: authorisation.

Authorisation determines if the user that passed the authentication process is a registered user of ImageNow — someone with a user name identical to that supplied in the authentication process.

Beyond those digital checkpoints, authorisation checks the logged-in user’s assigned user privileges to comprehensively control their actions and access during the session.

In ImageNow, there’s no way around the privileges a user has been assigned. And conflicting privileges based on individual identity and multiple group membership are reconciled according to a hierarchy that allows administrators to review and limit every action a user can take and every document he or she can access.
