64-Bit Server

While the widely deployed 32-bit version of ImageNow Server has a track record of superior performance even in the largest implementations, the 64-bit version enables the Perceptive Software platform to move into both emerging and future generations of 64-bit hardware and operating systems.

64-bit architecture shatters the existing limits on addressable memory and maximum number of processor cores in 32-bit platforms, giving developers new options for optimising performance.

With the ability to access up to two terabytes of physical memory under current 64-bit operating systems, 64-bit applications can cache performance-critical data and use a steadily increasing number of processor cores (if available) to reduce overall system latency. That can mean real-world performance gains for systems under heavy processing loads.

ImageNow Server 64-Bit lets organisations with exceptional computing demands take advantage of the fastest and most scalable hardware and operating systems available today — and tomorrow.
